FAQ ***UNDER CONSTRUCTION***
A: Right click on the AVG icon on the lower right.
1) First click "Update Now" and let AVG find and install updates.
2) Now right click on the icon and choose "Open AVG User Interface"
3) On the top of the interface, click on "History"
4) Click on "Scan Results"
5) In the Scan Results window you will see your past scans listed, newer to older from the top to the bottom.

a) Make sure the last scan is GREEN in color- This means nothing was detected.
b) You may see BLUE scan icons as well, these are scans that found cookies which can be low end security issues but really not that bad. Double click on the scan and hit the "Remove all unhealed infections" button to make sure AVG removed them-chances are it did.
c) If you see a RED scan icon you have or had viruses (chances are AVG removed them). As in the BLUE icon, double click to open and hit the "Remove all unhealed infections" button to make sure AVG removed them. If the newer scans are BLUE or GREEN that means AVG removed them. If all your newer scans are RED you are infected- contact me to set up an appointment.
A: Start the Super Anti Spyware Program from your program folder in the START button
1) Right click on the Super Anti Spyware Button on your task bar in the lower right (looks like a bug)
2) First select "Check for updates" and follow instructions to update the program.
3) Next, right click on the program icon and choose "Scan for Spyware,Adware, and MAlware" at the top of the list.
4) Choose "Scan Your Computer"
5) Choose "Quick Scan" if in a hurry but choose "Perform a Complete Scan" for a thorough inspection (recommended)
6) Hit "Next" to begin scan
7) When scan is finished hit "NEXT" again.
1) Open CCLEANER from the program icon on your desktop or by locating it in your program folder in the Start Button menu.
2) If CCleaner finds an update it will let you know. Download it and install it, make sure you close CCleaner before doing the installation.
3) Click "Run Cleaner" on the lower right of the program interface to scan and automatically remove temporary files and browsing history. Accept any other popup window if it appears.
4) When it's done scanning you are done! Close program.
Look for the globe with the small brown shield in your task manager on the lower right (near time)
1) Right click on Ad Aware icon.
2) Select Update
When update is finished do the following;
3) Right click on Ad Aware icon.
4) Hit "Run Scan" then pick "Smart Scan" (short scan) or "Full Scan" (thorough)
5) After AdAware alerts you that scan is complete
A: It's a good idea to use a different format, such as bold, for the questions, so that it is easy to distinguish them from the answers.
